“Poésie critique” is a selection of texts by Cocteau produced by Henri Parisot for the Éditions des Quatre-Vents in 1945. The volume, composed in consultation with the author, contains five “chapters” of the Rappel à l’ordre (1926), excerpts from Opium (1930), the two texts of the Essai de critique indirecte (1932) and a few articles.
Bound in Bradel-style paperboard publisher’s binding. Copy in lovely condition, with some light friction from use on the caps. Fresh inside, devoid of foxing.
